All Turkey sailing holiday itineraries are available for everyone. Traveling solo, with your partner or a friend? Hop on board of one of the ‘share boat‘ weeks together with other fellow travellers. For those who like a little adreline with their sailing, the midsummer months have the strongest winds: 25knots or so on average. It tends to be a little mellower in the early and late season. Even if you never sailed before, you could join any month really. There is no such thing as beginner months or intermediate / advanced months. From late May-Oct, it’s pretty much guaranteed sun, sun and more sun – once again, a perfect yachties’ playground!
Embark the boat – Kos to Bodrum
Depart Kos mid morning after clearing out of Greece at customs, and sail to Pserimos for lunch before continuing to Bodrum. We clear into Turkey at Bodrum customs, and spend the rest of the evening wandering old town or relaxing on board. We’ll have dinner in the marina district. Bodrum castle is beautiful and Bodrum itself is very lively with excellent bar and clubs, and restaurants lined along the shore.

Bodrum to Çökertme Bay
This sail is classic Turkish coastline sailing, with pine covered hills and calm sheltered bays great for swimming. We have a quiet night on anchor, perfect for our BBQ which we prepare for you on board.

Çökertme Bay to English Harbour (Kargı Koyu)
We continue further into the Gulf of Gökova. English Harbour is one of the most beautiful bays in the Gulf of Gökova. Crystal‑clear water, a protected anchorage surrounded by forest, a dream spot for swimming, paddleboarding, and relaxing. We anchor and tie stern to the shore, dine ashore and sample the local Turkish cuisine.

English Harbour to Seven Islands, Löngöz Bay
We island hop through the sheltered lagoons, a swim stop and snorkelling in shallow turquoise covers where we have our lunch. We end up in Löngöz Bay which is beautiful and we dine in a small Turkish tavern on shore.

Löngöz Bay to Orak Island
We depart Löngöz Bay and sail west to Orak Island, which is a fabulous for snorkling in clear waters. We anchor here and enjoy a night under the stars again.

Orak Island to Bodrum to Kos
We sail back to Bodrum and check out of Turkey and return to Kos by 6:00 PM. We check back into Greece and enjoy our final evening together in a local Greek taverna.

Disembark the boat
Disembarkation is at 9:00 AM. For those wishing to stay longer in Kos, we can recommend some great little places to stay around the island. For onward travel, there are several daily flights to many European cities. You will definitely be heading home with a nice tan!
