7-Day Sailing Holiday Gulf of Gökova, Bodrum, Turkey

Imagine this: pine-covered hills meeting turquoise water, a quiet bay where the only sound is your morning swim, and a table of fresh mezze waiting ashore as the sun sets. This is your Turkish sailing adventure through the Gulf of Gökova, Seascape-style. A sailing holiday that blends the lively energy and history of Bodrum with wild, secluded anchorages like Çökertme, English Harbour and the hidden coves of the Seven Islands. Picture relaxed days sailing dramatic coastline, and an evening under the stars with onboard BBQ.

The Gulf of Gökova is one of Turkey’s most beautiful and unspoiled cruising grounds, where pine-covered hills meet crystal-clear turquoise bays and life moves at a slower pace. In true SeaScape style, we balance vibrant harbours like Bodrum — rich in history and atmosphere — with quiet anchorages far from the crowds. We explore hidden gems such as the sheltered English Harbour, the tranquil lagoons of the Seven Islands, and the clear waters of Orak Island, where swimming, snorkelling and relaxed evenings under the stars become part of the daily rhythm.

* Mentioned destinations are indicative, as the routes we plan and the places we visit always depend on sailing conditions. As true Seascapers we always make sure you’ll have the trip of a lifetime.

For those who like a little adreline with their sailing, the midsummer months have the strongest winds: 25knots or so on average. It tends to be a little mellower in the early and late season. Even if you never sailed before, you could join any month really. There is no such thing as beginner months or intermediate / advanced months. From late May-Oct, it’s pretty much guaranteed sun, sun and more sun – once again, a perfect yachties’ playground!
