Sail the world’s most breathtaking waters with SeaScape Sailing. Our journeys take you beyond the ordinary, where stunning landscapes, hidden gems, and authentic experiences await. Whether you’re seeking the timeless charm of the Mediterranean, a Caribbean paradise, or dreaming of new horizons, our carefully curated destinations offer unforgettable sailing adventures.
We don’t fit the usual sailing niches. Our Adventure Sailing trips land somewhere between bareboat charters and fully crewed yachts. These are hands-on, participatory, “real” sailing adventures—we provide all the ingredients: provisioning, local know-how, and expert guidance. All you have to do is turn up and have fun!
Our skippers are happy to let you take the helm—or teach you how. They won’t vanish at port, either. They’ll introduce you to local buddies, plan land excursions, or lead the way to their favourite places. Want some personal time? No problem.
SeaScape trips feel more like sailing with a bunch of good friends than being waited on. Our skippers won’t hover in white uniforms, but they’ll always have your back—ready to help you have the best holiday ever. Everything will be there and ready to go, including invaluable local knowledge, and the super-enthusiastic welcome that our local friends always extend to our sailors.
Paul grew up on the west coast of Ireland. Comes from a fishing background on both sides of his family. His father John ran a deep sea charter Angling business for 50 years and Paul and his brother Barry spent their summers out on the boat, running around in oversized life jackets trying to help, but mostly just getting in the way, and asking silly questions.
But that’s the best way to learn seamanship, from a young age it all sticks, and from there there Paul took up sailing as teenager and spent many summers racing boats in regattas all over the west of Ireland.
Fast forward 35 years, Paul has owned 6 different yachts to date, sailed many thousand of miles, and has an RYA Yachtmaster Offshore with commercial endorsement qualification. He skippered for Diane during the season of 2023, and again for another Kos based charter company in 2024. So he knows the Dodecanese area extremely well, from the tiny sheltered anchorages to the best beaches and restaurants.
He’s passionate about sailing and loves to teach it, and above all ensuring his passengers really get the full real Greek island experience. There’s always a guitar 🎸 on the boat and when the sundowners are in hand sometimes the guitar is too. 😊
After more than a decade in corporate marketing and hospitality, Anique realized that her heart belonged not to boardrooms but to the open sea. A passionate traveler, she spent every spare moment exploring the world—whether diving vibrant reefs in the Caribbean or sailing through the remote islands of the Philippines. It was during these moments on the water that a deeper calling became clear.
In 2025, she followed that call and made a bold career shift to join SeaScape Sailing, blending her professional expertise with her personal passion. While she’s still charting her own course as a sailor-in-training, Anique brings a wealth of experience to SeaScape’s marketing efforts—ensuring the spirit of adventure and the beauty of life at sea are shared with every guest, follower, and future crew member.
Billie is our small Whippet. The phrase most often heard when people meet her? “She’s so cute!” Slightly goofy, wonderfully gentle, and almost permanently relaxed, she excels at the fine art of sleeping — roughly 23 hours a day, which, by whippet standards, counts as a full schedule. The remaining hour is usually reserved for mealtimes, chasing a ball, or an unexpected burst of zoomies. One of the many reasons she fits so well into life on board is her easygoing nature. Billie rarely barks, has no dog smell, and is remarkably clean with minimal shedding. She is a devoted cuddle companion and exceptionally gentle with children, making her a quiet and comforting presence around the boat.
If you have allergies or feel uneasy around dogs, Billie has a wonderful place to stay ashore. Just let us know in advance.
Also known by those who sail in her Aegean realm as “The Goddess Diana,” or “Mother Hen”! After completing a degree in Psychology at Sussex University (UK), she spent her early years vacillating between boat-bumming and the software industry. An increasing gathering of potential sailors wanting to join her trips to Greece inspired her to take the plunge and buy our first boat “Vassilis” – and so SeaScape Sailing was born. Diane is taking a break from sailing for while, but we’re trying to get her back soon for some Greek sunshine as we know how much she misses these islands!
EXCELLENT Based on 35 reviews Posted on Susan PearsallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just returned from a fantastic experience. Not our first to the BVI but certainly the best. SeaScape provided a relaxed, accommodating and highly serviced experience for us. Impactful to our group was the everyday friendliness and positive spirit we enjoyed from our Captain and Firstmate. Thank you SeaScape!Posted on Maria LindenTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Paul and Anique were absolutely wonderful! They catered to our every need as we sailed through the BVIs. Anique prepared delicious meals (breakfast and lunch) each day, making sure to meet everyone's dietary needs. Paul was not only a remarkable captain, but easy going and enjoyable to work with. We enjoyed sharing meals together and getting to know Paul and Anique on a personal level. Their knowledge and expertise made for smooth sailing! If you're looking for a fun getaway, lots of laughs, and much needed relaxation, don't miss the boat!Posted on A ATrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Had an absolutely wonderful sail cat trip with Anique and Paul in the BVIs! Anique made outstanding meals and introduced us to some wonderful recipes we will be making. And Paul's skills as a Captain are immediately apparent and he chose some great spots. They make it so you don't have to worry, or think, about a thing. And isn't that exactly what you want on a wondrous week in the BVIs? Highly recommend.Posted on Kristine VierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. This is a review of the BVIs trip. The boat was very nice and spacious with a great flybridge to view the sunsets. Paul and Anique are great hosts who took care of details which made for a fun and stress free vacation. The breakfasts and lunches were perfect. Loved being able to sail to Anegada, the sail that day was a great treat.Posted on Jodi SangsterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just finished a week in the BVIs on my first sailing trip ever and loved it. Paul and Anique are laid back and lovely people who gave us a fantastic week. Would definitely recommend!!!Posted on Greg EmersonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our sailing tour around the Cyclades aboard Seascape Sailing's "Artemis" was truly amazing. It was a privilege to be guests of Paul & Anique who were the perfect hosts. They treated all guests with warm, friendly and gracious hospitality making the entire voyage a beautiful and unforgettable journey. They took us to places only accessible by boat away from the mainstream tourism areas where we could immerse ourselves in genuine Greek Island culture and ambiance. We didn't need to have any sailing experience, but anyone with any level of sailing skills was welcomed by Paul, as skipper, to take charge of the helm under his clam, guiding and watchful eye. On-board catering was excellent with Anique’s first-class food selection and cheffing prowess keeping us well nourished. We all enjoyed a great variety of fresh, locally supplied produce. Occasional on-shore meals were also enjoyed at restaurants well known to our hosts for their beautiful, traditional Greek cuisine.Posted on Chris FrazierTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just returned from a truly unforgettable 12-day sailing adventure with Seascape Sailing and we can't recommend it enough. Starting in Kos, Greece, our journey took us through a mix of Greek and Turkish islands, including Simi, Rhodes and a handful of charming hidden coves along the way. From the moment we stepped aboard, Captain Paul made everyone feel completely at ease while his sailing expertise was clear from day one. Combine that with first mate Anique's warm and upbeat attitude and whom somehow managed to create a rotating menu of delicious, home cooked Greek meals that far surpassed our expectations (Paul on grill duty too!). Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, we often felt like we were dining at a local taverna but with a better view! Every day brought a new adventure, quiet coves for swimming, charming port towns, and plenty of time to just unwind while enjoying the rhythm of the sea. Oh and if you enjoy a little guitar under the stars, you won't be disappointed when Captain Paul breaks out some ole Irish classics. If you're looking for a more personal, soul-restoring experience with the islands and away from the crowds, go with Seascape Sailing, you won't regret it. We came home sun-kissed, well fed, and full of incredible memories! Can't wait to sail with them again! First time going out to Greece and it was absolutely fantastic between the sailing, scenery the food and of course the crew onboard, Paul and Anique were so helpful and friendly. I would 100% recommend, it’s a one in a lifetime experience and the memories made are unforgettable. Thank you so much guysPosted on Carly VesterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had an incredible and truly once-in-a-lifetime sailing trip with Paul and Anique! They have a knack for knowing when crew will get along and we already miss our new friends from this trip. Paul's sailing knowledge and experience was shared with anyone who wanted to learn, and Anique made us feel welcome and taken care of from the moment we arrived (not to mention the delicious dishes she cooked for the whole boat!). We sailed to both remote and vibrant ports with a swim break in a new beautiful spot every day. Thank you so much for making this trip memorable and sharing a slice of the Dodecanese with us.Posted on Hilary WeekesTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. An exceptionally fabulous week of sailing. I can’t praise the crew highly enough for their superb service. You simply couldn’t get better food, skippering, friendship, support etc. One of the best weeks I have spent on the seas. Yacht is spacious and loads of storage. Always room for a few more luxuries but that’s not what I went for! Excellent value and would highly recommend whether or not you have sailed before.
We are a small, owner-operated company, who starting our sailing adventures in the Dodecanese islands of Greece. Set up and created by Daine Edwards in 1995, Diane took her highly successful shareboat concept to several other parts of the world – including Turkey, Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines, Australia, and Croatia.
The shareboat concept (now also called “cabin charter”) was the original cornerstone of SeaScape Sailing. Now we also do lots of private group charters – often with people who’ve sailed with us as a single or couple in the past, and now have a whole bunch of their friends and family who want to join our intrepid adventures too!
Diane sold SeaScape Sailing in the autumn of 2024 to one of her previous skippers, Paul Ryan. Paul is Irish and has been sailing for 35 years. He comes from a seafaring background, was born and grew up in the west of Ireland. Paul is really excited about flying the SeaScape flag and continuing to run amazing cool sailing trips for both share boat and full charters into the future.
We look forward to seeing you on the water!
