Mahayana is a 51′ aluminium cruising catamaran, which combines speed and comfort in one very good-looking package!
Nyami and Mahayana are “buddy boats” not just because they have similar attributes as cruising catamarans, but also because Mahayana’s owner & crew have the same attitude to their guests as we do. The ambiance onboard is super-relaxed, fun, and easy-going; the crew are your new best friends who love to show you around the most stuning, off-the-beaten-track spots.
The team on Mahanaya will design the itinerary for your trip entirely around your own preferences; and you don’t have stress about choosing where in advance; plans can change with the wind!
They are particularly great for families with kids; they will help keep the youngsters entertained, so that mom & dad can have a break too.
The layout on Mahayana is the traditional catamaran style with double cabins f’ard and aft in each hull; crew cabins are separate, right up f’ard. The interior decor gleams with beautifully-varnished wood and a quirky design style which gives her a unique personality – not just another “plastic-fantastic” boat which all look and feel the same. And everyone just loves her foredeck bean bags!
As for other “boat toys”, Mahayana comes with snorkelling gear, a 2 person sea kayak – other boat toys eg, SUPs can be rented additionally.
Layout
- 6 cabins in total
- 2 king-sized doubles f’ard, with en suites
- 2 doubles aft with own sink; shared bathroom
- 2 single crew cabins
Meet the Crew
Steve is another escapee from the grey skies of England; he jumped in the deep end buying Mayahana some years ago and has never looked back.
The ambiance on his boat is like his character; easy-going, fun and full of adventure!
Besides the amazing, super-healthy feasts that Jan whips up onboard, she also has her own home-made patessiere business. So you’d better join Steve in some of his active adventures, else you’ll certainly not lose any weight on this trip!
